This is the second video Dustin sent to me. It is the first vision in Italian.

Elder (Anziano) Memmott is doing well. He is actually doing amazing. His P-day is on Wednesday and we recieve an e-mail from him on that day, and then any hand-written letters that he may have time for we get in the next day or two. He has an amazing companion and I think that really helps. Elder Malan is very much like Dustin in his drive to learn the language etc. We have recieved 2 video clips. the first one is his testimony in Italian, the second is the first vision in Italian. I love them both, but my favorite is the first vision because he is acting and truly giving it as if he is teaching someone and puts a lot of emotion etc. in it. The problem is that it made me miss him terribly. I have tried to post them but found out I have to change the format first. I am working on that and hope to have them up soon. So keep checking back.

Well, as you can see... this is a blog ABOUT Dustin. Not BY Dustin. I (his mom) will be the one writing here and keeping everyone posted on his progress. I am sure there will a lot of amazing stories to share. Some funny, some sad and some spiritual. I will try to add to the blog once a week. Since life happens, there will be times when it is longer, but I will always catch you all up on things. He LOVES getting mail. It is his break at the end of the day and keeps him going. It gives him a bit of home and that seems to sustain him. His address in the mission home is:

Elder Dustin Tyler Memmott
MTC Mailbox #254
ITA-MIL 0228
2005 N. 900 E.
Provo, Utah  84604-1793

Write to him. You won't find a more grateful reciever of your time and effort. I will post as his address changes.
Dustin with Anziano Collins before he left. Elder Collins was a ZL and Dustin says he is a really cool guy.
This is Dustin with Anziano Walsh who is from England. He is really hoping that he will get to serve with him in Italy.
 A picture of his desk.
This is a picture of their language room. Apparently the group that just left for Italy pranked them before they left and rounded up a bunch of chairs and filled their language room.
This is my favorite. They play this game where they all throw something sticky on the ceiling and the first persons that falls loses the game. Too many language classes and pretty soon you get desperate for something fun to do and apparently this is the best they could come up with. He says his is the pumpkin.
